Arsenal duo Gabriel Martinelli and Martin Odegaard have both been nominated for the Premier League's Player of the Month award for December.
Mikel Arteta's side lost their two opening fixtures of the month before embarking on a four-game winning streak, with Martinelli forcing Emile Smith Rowe out of the team with three goals and two assists in those six games.
Meanwhile, Odegaard also established himself as an integral part of Arsenal's setup in December, scoring in three consecutive games against Everton, Manchester United and Southampton before providing three assists later in the month.
The two youngsters have now been rewarded with nominations for December's Premier League Player of the Month as Arsenal continue to challenge for Champions League football.
Manchester City also have two representatives in the forms of Joao Cancelo and Raheem Sterling, while Tottenham Hotspur's Son Heung-min, Chelsea's Mason Mount and Leicester City's James Maddison are also up for the award.
Trent Alexander-Arnold scooped the November Player of the Month award after Cristiano Ronaldo, Michail Antonio and Mohamed Salah had previously won the individual accolades for the 2021-22 season.
