Mesut Ozil dismisses Premier League title talk

Mesut Ozil claims that it is too early in the season to start talking about Arsenal winning the Premier League title.

Mesut Ozil has suggested that talk of Arsenal winning the Premier League title is premature.

The Gunners are currently at the top of the table with five wins from seven matches.

"I am delighted we top the table, but we also know that the season is still very long," Sky Sports News quotes the German international midfielder as saying.

"To talk about winning the league would be too early. The current table is nothing more than a snapshot.

"We will continue to play every game with our full concentration, we will try to get better as a team. If we can do that, we have a great chance to achieve a lot."

Arsenal's next fixture in the Premier League is against Norwich City at the Emirates Stadium on October 19.
