Sol Campbell does not expect Mesut Ozil to play for Arsenal again

Arsenal Invincible Sol Campbell believes that Mesut Ozil, who has been ostracised from the Gunners squad, will never play for the Gunners again.

Former Arsenal defender and Invincible Sol Campbell believes that Gunners outcast Mesut Ozil has played his final game in red and white.

The former Real Madrid man appears to have no future at Arsenal after being left out of Mikel Arteta's squad for the Europa League group stage, and Ozil has not turned out for the Gunners since their March victory over West Ham United before the coronavirus lockdown.

Amid the playmaker's turmoil in North London, Campbell is certain that Ozil's glory days at Arsenal are gone and the 32-year-old cannot force his way back into Arteta's plans.

Speaking to GentingBet, the 46-year-old said: "Mesut Ozil is yesterday's news at the club.

"There is no chance that he will feature for Arsenal again this season, or ever again. There have been certain things that have gone on, instances where he has gone against the club, so I don't see where there is any room for him to come back."

Despite falling out of favour at the Emirates, Ozil has frequently reiterated his desire to see out his Gunners contract, which is set to expire next summer.
