Nuri Sahin makes his debut for Liverpool, while Theo Walcott must settle for a place on the substitutes bench.

Nuri Sahin has been named in the staring lineup for Liverpool's clash with Arsenal at Anfield.

The Turk - making his debut following a loan switch from Real Madrid - will start alongside Joe Allen in midfield.

Brendan Rodgers has also handed another start to Raheem Sterling, who impressed on his full Premier League debut in last week's 2-2 draw with Manchester City.

Meanwhile, Theo Walcott will start on the bench for the Gunners, with Arsene Wenger opting instead for Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

Olivier Giroud and Lukas Podolski will partner each other in attack.
