Luis Suarez is linked with Arsenal following reports of a series of "massive" bets on the move in Spain.

Arsenal have been linked with a sensational £25m bid for Liverpool striker Luis Suarez.

Bookmakers have stopped taking bets on the Uruguay forward joining the Gunners after a series of "massive" bets were placed on the move in Spain, The Sun reports.

"It would suggest they have heard something substantial," said William Hill spokesman Rupert Adams of the Spanish bets.

Suarez has been strongly linked with a move to Real Madrid since expressing his desire to leave Liverpool this summer.

The Reds are said to be trying to hold emergency talks with the striker following reports that he has already held secret meetings with the Spanish giants.
