Jorginho: 'Arsenal, Chelsea are scouting me'

Hellas Verona midfielder Jorginho says that scouts from Arsenal and Chelsea were watching on as he hit a brace against Parma at the weekend.

Hellas Verona star Jorginho has revealed that performances in Serie A have attracted the interest of both Arsenal and Chelsea.

The Brazilian-born midfielder has hit five goals in eight appearances for the Italian outfit this term - including a brace in the 3-2 victory over Parma on Sunday - and the 21-year-old says that both London giants were present to witness his performance at the weekend.

Speaking to Gazzetta dello Sport, he said: "In the match against Parma there were scouts from teams like Arsenal and Chelsea.

"Maybe if I keep playing well I can show exactly what I'm worth."

Jorginho's contract in Verona expires in 2016.
