Leicester City winger Riyad Mahrez has opted to target a move to Arsenal instead of making a switch to Roma, according to reports.
The Algeria international handed in a transfer request at the King Power Stadium earlier this summer, leading to rumoured interest from the Gunners and the Giallorossi.
Leicester manager Craig Shakespeare revealed on Friday that a Roma bid for Mahrez was "politely declined on the basis that it was a low offer".
According to The Sun, the 26-year-old has changed his mind on a move to the Italian capital, instead preferring to remain in England, and has set his sights on a switch to the Emirates Stadium.
Mahrez scored 10 times in all competitions for the Foxes last season, with four of those coming in the Champions League en route to the quarter-finals of the tournament.
