Mario Balotelli has reportedly said that he is desperate to join Arsenal during this summer's transfer window.
The AC Milan forward has been linked with a return to the Premier League in recent weeks, although manager Arsene Wenger has denied pursuing the striker.
According to the Daily Mail, Balotelli is keen to leave Italy after fans blamed him for the national side's exit from the World Cup.
The report goes on to say that Balotelli is worried that the Gunners will start looking at other forwards if he does not complete the move next week.
