The agent of Juventus defender Daniele Rugani has revealed that Arsenal are interested in signing his client.
The Gunners are known to be in the market for defensive reinforcements having conceded 35 goals in the Premier League this season - just two fewer than bottom club West Bromwich Albion.
Arsene Wenger's side saw a late bid for West Brom captain Jonny Evans turned down on deadline day, although the Northern Ireland international could be available for just £3m in the summer should the Baggies suffer relegation.
The 23-year-old Rugani is also on Arsenal's radar, but he would command a much higher fee as his current contract does not expire until 2021.
"Daniele's doing well, I'm happy for him," agent Davide Torchia told Radio Sportiva.
"Arsenal? They didn't launch any assaults for him. They expressed a liking for him, but we have respect for Juventus."
Rugani has featured in just one of Juve's last 10 Serie A matches.
