Aston Villa, Middlesbrough and Celtic have all reportedly registered an interest in Le Havre defender Harold Moukoudi.
West Ham United and Fulham were both linked with the France Under-20 international earlier in the summer but despite a move failing to materialise, the youngster remains on the radar of a number of British clubs.
According to the Daily Mail, Villa have made a loan bid for the prospect as they look to strengthen their backline before the end of August.
The West Midlands outfit are yet to keep a clean sheet in the Championship this season, and it has resulted in Steve Bruce needing to act in the coming days.
Second-tier rivals Middlesbrough are also said to hold an interest, while Moukoudi is an option for Celtic, who have endured an inconsistent start to the campaign.
Moukoudi has started each of Le Havre's five games in Ligue 2 this season, with the club conceding just two goals.
