Athletic Bilbao midfielder Benat has vowed to impress next season after struggling during his first campaign with the Basque outfit.
The Spaniard joined Bilbao from Real Betis last summer following a brilliant 2012-13 campaign, but struggled to produce his best form last season.
"I feel as though I've got a bit more than just enthusiasm inside me, because this is a new season," he told Euskadi Radio.
"I'm really keen to show what I can do, so let's see if everything turns out okay. I know that I can do well. This year I want to demonstrate that I can play here."
Benat turned down a host of interest to join Bilbao last summer.
