Barcelona defender Gerard Pique has revealed his delight after his team beat Bayern Munich 3-0 in the first leg of their Champions League semi-final.

Lionel Messi scored twice for the Catalan outfit late on, before Neymar added a third in the fourth minute of stoppage time.

"What an exceptional match. Bayern barely had a shot on goal," Pique told reporters moments after the final whistle.

The second leg at the Allianz Arena will take place next Tuesday.
