Luis Enrique: 'Neymar consistently great'

Luis Enrique praises Neymar for his consistently great performances since joining from Santos in 2013.

Luis Enrique has praised Neymar for being 'consistently great' since joining Barcelona in 2013 from Brazilian club Santos.

Neymar scored four times against Rayo Vallecano last weekend in the Catalan's 5-2 victory, before setting up both goals in their 2-0 win over BATE Borisov in their Champions League game in midweek.

"Are we seeing the best Neymar since he joined Barcelona? No, I don't think so. He has always been a great player for us," Enrique said at a news conference.

"He is a very special player, a unique player. He has been great all these years. Obviously he is still developing, but he has been fantastic ever since he came to Barcelona.

"He scores goals, provides assists and can make the difference."

Barcelona will face Eibar on Sunday, with a win taking the Catalan giants to the top of La Liga.
