Frank Rijkaard 'would return to Barcelona'

Former Barcelona manager Frank Rijkaard reveals that he would "gladly return" to Camp Nou after being questioned on his long-term future.

Experienced manager Frank Rijkaard has revealed that while he currently has "no plans to coach again", he would "gladly return to Barcelona".

The Dutchman was in charge of the Spanish giants from 2003 and 2008 and won two La Liga titles and the Champions League during a successful period at Camp Nou.

The 53-year-old has since managed Galatasaray and Saudi Arabia, but left his latter role in 2013 and has not held a coaching position since.

"So far I have no plans to coach again. Right now, no, but you never know," he told Al Primer Toque. "I'd gladly return to Barcelona. I have many good memories there and it is part of my football life."

Rijkaard, who represented Ajax, Sporting Lisbon and AC Milan during his playing career, had a win rate of just under 59% during his time in charge of Barcelona.
