Valencia's Jeremy Mathieu has admitted that he would be tempted by the prospect of signing for Barcelona, despite being more than happy at his current club.
The Frenchman was reportedly offered to the La Liga leaders earlier this week to help ease his team's financial troubles.
"Anyone would like the chance to play with a team like Barcelona but I am only thinking about one thing - Valencia," he told Sport.
"I am close to the final stages of my career, I am 30 years old and I am clear with what I want to do and that is finish my career here with Valencia - this would be great."
Mathieu's contract at Valencia is due to expire in 2014.
