Real Sociedad have reportedly contacted Barcelona over a loan move for Mexican midfielder Jonathan dos Santos.
The San Sebastian outfit attempted to sign the 23-year-old in the summer, but a move broke down with Barcelona keen to keep him involved in their first-team squad.
However, according to Mundo Deportivo, another formal request has been made after Sociedad learned that they would be without Esteban Granero for the next six months.
Dos Santos has been a regular in the Catalan outfit's squad this season, but has managed just 18 minutes of competitive action.
