Bayern Munich boss Jupp Heynckes insists that his side will not sit back and defend against Barcelona tomorrow night.

Bayern Munich manager Jupp Heynckes has declared that his side will not rest on their laurels against Barcelona tomorrow night despite taking a commanding 4-0 lead to the Camp Nou.

The treble chasers were dominant in last week's Champions League semi-final first leg, scoring four times without reply and travel to Spain as overwhelming favourites to reach next month's Wembley showpiece.

Heynckes has insisted that Bayern will resist the temptation to defend deep and must aim to score and kill off the tie against a dangerous Barca side.

He told the club's official website: "We should defend with a high line and try to impose our playing style on them.

"We need to try and score a goal or two, and it's a possibility. They'll press the ball from the start and try to put us under pressure."

Thomas Muller, Arjen Robben and Mario Gomez were all on target for Bayern last week and are fighting to keep their places for Wednesday's second leg.
