Gabriel Calderon: 'I have made mistakes'

Real Betis boss Gabriel Calderon admits that he has made "some mistakes" at the Spanish outfit this season following their relegation from La Liga.

Real Betis boss Gabriel Calderon has admitted that he has made "some mistakes" at the Spanish outfit this season.

Betis' relegation from La Liga was confirmed last weekend, with the Seville-based side picking up just five league wins all season.

"Obviously, I will have made some mistakes. After every match I always analyse the decisions that I made both before and after," Inside Spanish Football quotes the Spaniard as saying.

"Of all the matches, except the first four matches in which I had to recover the team's morale, the Europa league match against Sevilla, the one against Malaga and against Rayo Vallecano are the three matches that I can be most self-critical about, in terms of the things that I could have changed.

"If I had done things differently, the result might have been different."

Calderon took charge of Betis in January.
