Lee Clark: "It was our worst performance of the season"

Birmingham City manager Lee Clark feels that his side produced their "worst performance of the season" in their 3-0 defeat to Burnley.

Birmingham City manager Lee Clark has expressed his disappointment in his side as they turned in their "worst performance of the season".

The Blues were beaten 3-0 by Burnley in their Championship clash at Turf Moor as Danny Ings netted a brace for the Clarets.

Clark told reporters: "I think probably the word is disappointing because we got what we deserved we didn't play well enough in every aspect of the game. When you lose goals so quickly in each half it becomes a problem. It was by far our worst performance of the season.

"That's the first poor performance of the season and we should have got extra points in a lot of our games, that's what's kept us going.

"Tonight because we haven't done any aspect of the game right in terms of the quality that was required. When you come up a very good group of players we were on the end of the result that we deserved."

Birmingham are 21st in the Championship after seven games this season.
