Half-Time Report: Sheffield Wednesday, Brighton & Hove Albion play out goalless half

Two flying saves from David Stockdale keep Sheffield Wednesday and Brighton & Hove Albion level at half time.

Sheffield Wednesday and Brighton & Hove Albion are goalless at half time of their Championship clash this afternoon.

After a sluggish opening 20 minutes, Wednesday started to apply some pressure after Will Keane went close with a header from a corner.

Brighton keeper David Stockdale then made a flying save to prevent Sergio Bus from scoring for the hosts, after Liam Palmer's cross was headed firmly towards the top corner by the striker.

Brighton responded by almost scoring themselves, as Rohan Ince smashed a volley marginally over the bar after a corner was cleared to the edge of the box.

Stockdale made another neat save to stop a Keane header to keep the teams level at the break.
