Brighton & Hove Albion manager Oscar Garcia refused to drawn on the extent of the injury suffered by Andrew Crofts in the 1-0 win over Birmingham City in the Championship.
David Lopez's 58th-minute goal was enough to lift the Seagulls into the playoff places, but the victory was marred by the midfielder's withdrawal nine minutes from the end.
He told reporters: "I don't want to speculate on for Andrew Crofts's injury, but it is the knee and it looks like it could be a bad one."
Brighton travel to fourth-placed Derby County next Saturday.
