Ronny Deila delighted with improving Celtic attack

Ronny Deila praises Celtic for their attacking display in the 4-1 triumph over St Mirren in the Scottish Premiership.

Ronny Deila has revealed his delight with the way his Celtic side attacked in Sunday's 4-1 victory over St Mirren.

The win was Celtic's eighth in a row in the Scottish Premiership, and Deila has challenged his players to be even more clinical as they look to boost their title bid over Christmas.

"We are creating chances and that is positive. Also, some of the attacks are the way I want to attack, with opposite movements and three players involved," the Norwegian told reporters.

"There were some good attacks and we are playing more forward now as well. There is also a quick reaction to winning the ball back.

"There were a lot of pleasing things but again I was thinking 'is this enough? Should we be scoring more goals?' That's something we have to work on if we are going to improve – we need to be more clinical."

Celtic are now six points clear of Inverness Caledonian Thistle at the top of the table.
