Wilfried Zaha passed fit for Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson reveals that Wilfried Zaha is in line to return against Chelsea after a two-month absence.

Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson has confirmed that Wilfried Zaha has been passed fit to feature in tomorrow's game with Chelsea.

The 24-year-old has been out since the opening day of the season, having picked up a knee injury in the 3-0 home loss to Huddersfield Town.

During his time on the sidelines, the Eagles have set an unwanted record, becoming the first side in top-flight history to lose their first seven games of a season without scoring a single goal in reply.

Zaha scored seven goals for Palace last term - including one in the 2-1 win over the Blues at Stamford Bridge - and will be back in the fold as they chase an unlikely win against the reigning league champions.

"He's trained now for two weeks so the international break has been very good for us in that respect," Hodgson told reporters today. "He trained from the Monday and ever since, so there's no reason why I shouldn't consider him tomorrow.

"He's a good player and also someone in the past who has made some very important moves and done some very important things for Crystal Palace so I think all the fans will be pleased to see him back on the field."

Zaha recently revealed that he had been targeting a return against Antonio Conte's side.
