Defender David Luiz has suggested that Chelsea will only improve as the season progresses after striking late to draw with Manchester United on Saturday afternoon.
Anthony Martial's double had put United on the brink of a comeback victory at Stamford Bridge, but Ross Barkley netted in the sixth minute of added-on time to earn Chelsea a point.
The late equaliser extended Chelsea's unbeaten run in the top flight to nine games, and Luiz feels that he and his teammates showed "amazing spirit" to salvage a share of the spoils.
The 31-year-old told the club's official website: "Even though we were 2-1 down, we kept trying to score the equaliser and we did that in the end so I think the spirit was amazing.
"This was a big game against a big club, and it is always like this. We have to realise we had amazing spirit to try and score the second goal and we did that in the end.
"We are happy we have gone this many games without losing, but we are keeping on working hard to try and improve our team because it is just the beginning."
Chelsea currently sit in third place in the league standings.
