Chelsea manager Roberto Di Matteo has said that he is happy with his squad's progress during a hectic pre-season tour.
The Blues played three matches on a tour of the United States, facing European heavyweights AC Milan and Paris Saint-Germain.
Di Matteo thinks that his squad will be fit and ready for the challenges of a new Premier League season.
He told the club's official website: "Results were a bit up and down and we were a little disappointed with the results, but we were pleased with what we did and we are looking forward to being ready on the first day.
"America was a challenge, with players coming back on different dates and then the games were a big challenge for everybody - the players and staff - but we are very pleased we came back without any injuries."
Di Matteo has bought a crop of attacking talent to Stamford Bridge this summer, signing Eden Hazard, Marko Marin and Oscar in the close season.
Chelsea play their first competitive match of the season against reigning champions Manchester City in the Community Shield at Villa Park on Sunday, August 12.
