Didier Drogba targets Premier League title

Returning Chelsea striker Didier Drogba sets his sights on winning the Premier League title next season.

Didier Drogba has made winning the Premier League title his major goal during his second stint with Chelsea.

The Ivorian striker left Stamford Bridge in 2012 following an eight-year spell, but after his release by Galatasaray at the end of last season, he has returned to Chelsea for the next 12 months.

The Blues have not lifted the Premier League trophy since 2010, which Drogba has insisted is "too long" for a club of Chelsea's stature.

"I'm not coming here to break records, I just want to win trophies," Drogba told the club's official website. "Five years is a long time not to win the Premier League, so I want to win it. To lift the Premier League trophy is a fantastic feeling and we haven't experienced it for a few years. It's too long for a club like ours."

Drogba won three Premier League titles during his first spell with the West Londoners.
