Filipe Luis eyeing Chelsea quadruple

Chelsea defender Filipe Luis says that the Blues are eyeing a clean sweep of trophies this season.

Filipe Luis has warned Chelsea's domestic and European rivals that the Blues are aiming to win every competition that they compete in this season.

Jose Mourinho's side are the bookmakers' favourites to win the Premier League title after the Portuguese welcomed a raft of big-name talents to Stamford Bridge this summer.

Luis is one of four high-profile arrivals in West London, alongside Cesc Fabregas, Diego Costa and Didier Drogba, and the left-back anticipates a successful season ahead.

"Chelsea are setting out to win everything this season – we have a top-quality team here," he told The Mirror. "You can tell that the players are all friends with one another, and that has helped me to adapt here.

"I had a very good reception and everyone is very modest. I am crazy about being able to play in the Premier League.

"It is the only league in the world where there are five teams with equal chances of competing for the title. England is the ideal place for me – and Chelsea is the best team."

Chelsea kick off their 2014-15 campaign by facing Burnley at Turf Moor next Monday.
