Kevin de Bruyne has said that his loan spell at Werder Bremen this season has helped him become a better player.
The 21-year-old midfielder will return to his parent club Chelsea this summer and is appreciative of his development at the German outfit.
"So many people have helped me at Bremen, especially in the area of strengthening my physique," Bundesliga.com quotes him as saying.
"I've come on a lot since Genk. I have to say a big thank you to Thomas Schaaf and the coaching staff for taking my game to a new level."
De Bruyne joined Chelsea from Genk in January 2012.
