Alan Pardew: Crystal Palace "have to keep evolving"

Alan Pardew is confident that Crystal Palace have what it takes to remain in the Premier League for many more years to come, as long as they "keep evolving".

Alan Pardew has said that he will look to splash the cash this summer in order to turn Crystal Palace into a "real stable Premier League club".

The Eagles have secured a third successive campaign at top-flight level, thanks in large part to the work carried out by Pardew since he took over in January.

Despite losing four games on the bounce, Palace remain just five points off a top-half finish this season.

Former Newcastle United boss Pardew is now looking ahead to the future, telling supporters at the club's end-of-season awards evening: "I've asked questions of this squad that haven't been asked before and, so far, they've come up with all the answers.

"[But] we have to keep evolving, keep changing, and that's something I'm happy to do. Hopefully this summer we will invest and make this club a real stable Premier League club."

Palace face Liverpool and Swansea City in their final two games.
