Crystal Palace manager Dougie Freedman is reportedly hopeful of adding Boulogne forward Alexis Allart to his squad ahead of the new season.

Crystal Palace are reportedly in talks with Boulogne over a potential deal to sign French forward Alexis Allart.

Only Bristol City, Coventry City and Doncaster Rovers scored fewer Championship goals than the Eagles last season.

Manager Dougie Freedman hopes that Allart will help improve his side's goal tally next term and he is confident of bringing the 25-year-old to Selhurst Park for a fee in the region of £300,000, according to The Mirror.

Midfielder Darren Ambrose, who joined Birmingham City 10 days ago, was Palace's top goalscorer last season.
