Crystal Palace have reportedly identified Roma midfielder Maxime Gonalons as a potential summer signing.
The Eagles are yet to make an outfield addition during the current transfer window, despite the departures of Yohan Cabaye and Bakary Sako.
West Ham United's Cheikhou Kouyate is said to be on the radar of manager Roy Hodgson, and Sky in Italy reports that another central midfielder could arrive at Selhurst Park.
The report claims that Palace have made an £8.9m bid for Gonalons, who was restricted to 16 starts and seven substitute appearances in all competitions last season.
Gonalons still has three years remaining on his contract at the Stadio Olimpico, but it appears that Palace are ready to tempt Roma into selling the France international.
