Carlo Ancelotti 'wants to bring Everton Soares to Goodison Park'

Gremio and Brazil attacker Everton Soares is reportedly a £25m transfer target for Everton.

Everton are reportedly weighing up a £25m swoop for Gremio attacker Everton Soares.

The 23-year-old, who has scored 47 times in 177 appearances for his current club in all competitions, continues to be linked with a move away from Brazil.

Arsenal have previously been credited with an interest, although talk of a potential bid from the Gunners has quietened over the last few weeks.

According to ESPN, the Toffees are lining up a £25m move for the South American as new head coach Carlo Ancelotti is keen to bring the attacker to Goodison Park.

The report claims that Ancelotti has already spoken to Everton about a potential switch before the January transfer window closes for business.

The Merseyside giants will be looking to bounce back from successive defeats to Manchester City and Liverpool when they host Brighton & Hove Albion in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
