Fulham midfielder Eyong Enoh has admitted that he and his teammates felt "deflated" after Papiss Cisse scored a late winner for Newcastle United in their clash at St James' Park.
Enoh limped out of the game in the 51st minute after colliding with Moussa Sissoko and watched on as the Senegalese striker netted in added time to condemn the Cottagers to defeat in their Premier League clash.
He told the club's official website: "It was very deflating, especially with the guys putting in such a good defensive display in the last few minutes.
"They put more pressure on us in the second half but I think it would have been fair if we had come home from this game here with a point at least."
Fulham are eight points clear of the relegation zone with seven games to play this season.
