Kit Symons pleased with Fulham comeback at Sheffield Wednesday

Fulham manager Kit Symons says that he is pleased with the team's comeback during their 1-1 Championship draw at Sheffield Wednesday.

Fulham manager Kit Symons has said that he is pleased with the way his team came back during their 1-1 Championship draw at Sheffield Wednesday.

Matt Smith equalised with 15 minutes remaining to cancel out Stevie May's opener.

"We were a goal down away from home and we needed to get something out of it," Symons told the club's official website.

"I had to make positive substitutions and act quite early. That's what we did and it paid off. It doesn't always work like that but luckily today it did."

The result saw Fulham go six points clear of the relegation zone.
