Inter Milan striker Mauro Icardi has claimed that three league goals this season is a good return due to his lack of service.
The Argentine netted the only goal of the match as Inter beat Bologna in Serie A on Tuesday, but he has thus far been short of the form that made him the top scorer in the league last season.
Icardi has insisted that his goal troubles in the early part of the campaign have not concerned him as he is confident of putting away the chances that arrive.
"It's the perfect evening because we won and it's what we had to do. I knew that the goal had to arrive sooner or later, but the important thing is that we brought home the three points," he told Sky Sport Italia.
"The drought didn't weigh on me, but it is true that when we play I don't get much service. It's a shame, as I am a striker and I can only score if the ball gets to me. In 10 games I received four decent passes and scored three goals. That seems like a good average to me."
Inter are currently top of Serie A on 21 points, one clear of second-placed Roma, who host Udinese on Wednesday evening.
