Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti has insisted that appointing Andrea Stramaccioni as the club's coach on a permanent basis was the correct decision.
The 36-year-old replaced the sacked Claudio Ranieri as the Nerazzurri's caretaker tactician in March, and was confirmed as the 2012-13 boss in the summer.
"It didn't take a lot of courage to choose Stramaccioni," said Moratti. "He seemed to have all the features to do the job and I wasn't mistaken."
Inter started their 2012-13 Serie A campaign with a 3-0 away victory over Pescara but went down 3-1 to Roma in Milan in their second match.
