Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti launches an attack on the level of officiating in Serie A.

Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti has slammed the level of officiating in Serie A after his side's 2-2 with Cagliari on Sunday.

The Nerazurri were denied a penalty claim when Andrea Ranocchia went down in the penalty area in second-half stoppage time, and Moratti launched an attack of the standard of refereeing after the game.

"These referees seem incapable," fumed Moratti. "I hope that a pattern does not emerge because this inability is getting stupid. It is now three games in a row that we have been on the receiving end of refereeing injustices arbitration and it's preventing us from getting results."

The draw leaves Andrea Stramaccioni's side in second place in Serie A, four points behind leaders Juventus.
