Luciano Moggi: 'Paulo Dybala is a great signing for Juventus'

Disgraced former Juventus director Luciano Moggi predicts that Paulo Dybala "will score many goals" for the Italian champions.

Former Juventus director Luciano Moggi has hailed new signing Paulo Dybala and suggested that the Argentine forward will "score many goals".

Dybala joined the Bianconeri from Sicilian outfit Palermo, and scored for Juve in their 2-0 Supercoppa Italiana victory over Lazio last weekend.

The disgraced former Juve official has stated that Dybala could be an ideal replacement for Carlos Tevez, who left the club last season.

He told Tuttomercatoweb: "I see a Juve which is always at the top and difficult to catch - Italy they're always the favourites. The team was rejuvenated and it was inevitable that [Andrea] Pirlo would leave.

"They could miss Tevez's goals as [Mario] Mandzukic scores less, but I think Dybala is a great signing. I think that he could score more goals [than] many other forwards."

Moggi resigned as director of the Turin club after his part in the Calciopoli scandal in 2006, which led to the Bianconeri being demoted to Serie B.
