New Leeds United manager Neil Warnock has confirmed that he gave the half-time team talk that inspired the Whites' dramatic 3-2 comeback win over rivals Doncaster on Saturday.
Warnock was watching from the stands after his appointment earlier in the day, but saw his new club go 2-0 down before they embarked upon their thrilling comeback.
"I couldn't resist going down at half time if I'm honest. I'm not a stand man," the former Queens Park Rangers boss told Sky Sports News.
"I thought they did well. We changed formation just after half time and I thought it worked well if I'm honest.
"Credit to them, a lot of teams might have given up. But 2-0 down, it got the atmosphere going."
Warnock will be looking to make Leeds the eighth different team he has achieved promotion with in his managerial career.
