Ronaldo Vieira has put pen to paper on his first professional contract with Leeds United.
The 17-year-old has agreed a two-year deal at Elland Road, which will come into force on July 1.
"I'm delighted, I'm over the moon with it. It's been a great season for me and I've worked hard for it. It's great to get rewarded with this," he told the club's official website.
"I first found out just over a month ago. I got called into the office and I was offered a new two-year deal. I couldn't stop smiling. It felt great."
The midfielder from Guinea-Bissau has made 38 appearances for a combination of Leeds's Under-18 and Under-21 sides this season.
