Leicester City boss Claudio Ranieri confident of keeping key players

Leicester City boss Claudio Ranieri is "very, very confident" that none of his key players will leave the King Power Stadium this summer.

Leicester City boss Claudio Ranieri has said that he is "very, very confident" that none of his key players will leave the King Power Stadium this summer.

The likes of Riyad Mahrez, Danny Drinkwater and N'Golo Kante have all been linked with moves away from the Foxes after playing key roles in the club's Premier League title success this season.

Ranieri, however, has warned his players against leaving the club, claiming that the grass is not always greener.

"I'm very, very confident. I suggest to all my players stay one year more. Don't go. If you go another team, you might not get on the pitch," Ranieri told reporters.

Leicester's first match as Premier League champions will be at home to Everton on Saturday afternoon.
