Jon Flanagan: 'Liverpool have improved massively'

Jon Flanagan believes that Liverpool have improved "massively" this season.

Liverpool defender Jon Flanagan has claimed that the team has improved "massively" this season.

The Reds are currently seven points adrift of leaders Chelsea in the Premier League table with a game in hand.

Flanagan now hopes that the Merseysiders can continue their strong form to the end of the campaign.

"You see our league position now, the way we're winning games and playing – we have come on massively," he told the club's official website.

"Everyone knows that and the fans know it as well. We just need to keep that up and keep going now. We're looking forward to each game as it comes this season and we want to finish as high as possible. Then we'll take that into next season, starting from pre-season."

Liverpool's league campaign resumes on Sunday when they travel to champions Manchester United.
