The agent of Liverpool forward Divock Origi says that talks have been held with Besiktas regarding a potential transfer this summer.

The agent of Liverpool striker Divock Origi has suggested that the player's future remains up in the air.

Origi has just spent the season on loan at German side Wolfsburg, but the Belgian attacker scored just seven goals in 35 appearances in all competitions.

Wolfsburg have decided against taking up the option to sign Origi on a permanent deal, leaving the forward facing a period of uncertainty with just a year left on his contract.

The 23-year-old is allegedly a target for Besiktas, but his representative has stated that the former Lille man will not accept a second loan move away from Anfield.

The agent told A Spor: "For me that it was a mistake for Divock to go to the Wolfsburg. [Jurgen] Klopp will now make a decision on him. If he wants him to stay, then Divock will stay or if he wants him to leave then Divock will leave.

"We are not looking to leave on loan again. We want to go a team that has made plans for him. In that regard, we've also spoken with Besiktas."

Since signing for Liverpool in 2014, Origi has netted 21 goals in 77 outings for the Merseyside giants.
