Kevin De Bruyne: 'Nothing has changed at Manchester City after UEFA ban'

Kevin De Bruyne says that it has been business as usual for the Manchester City first-team squad, despite being handed a two-year ban from European competition.

Kevin De Bruyne has claimed that "nothing has really changed" at Manchester City since the club were handed a two-year ban from European competition.

Last week, UEFA announced that the Premier League champions will be prevented from competing on the continent until 2022 after a serious breach of financial regulations.

However, after starring in City's 2-0 victory over West Ham United on Wednesday evening, De Bruyne has insisted that he and his teammates remain focused on winning silverware before the end of the season.

The Belgian told Sky Sports News: "We came back and we played football. The situation is what it is. We trained like normal, nothing has really changed. We just play the games that we have.

"Even today we give a good performance and we still have a lot to play for with the two cups and Champions League. Let's hope we can find our rhythm as quick as possible and win some titles at the end of the year."

City continue their pursuit of this season's Champions League crown against Real Madrid next week.
