Swansea City chairman Huw Jenkins hoping for Manchester City "off day"

Swansea City chairman Huw Jenkins believes that the Welsh club can get a result against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium this weekend.

Swansea City chairman Huw Jenkins believes that the Welsh side are capable of upsetting Manchester City this weekend.

On Saturday, the Swans travel to the Etihad Stadium where the North-West outfit currently hold a 100% record in the Premier League this season.

"Quite rightly you've got to respect Man City but I also view it as a great opportunity for us to go out and show what we can do," Jenkins told BBC Radio Wales Sport.

"You've always got to have the hope that on the day they have an off day and we play well.

"You've got to make sure that we're all focused and can try and concentrate on what we can do on the day and hope a bit of luck comes your way and you pick up a result."

Swansea are currently 10th in the league table, while City reside in fourth following their 6-0 win over Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.
