Outgoing Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini open to job offers in England

Manuel Pellegrini suggests that he is open to joining another English club when he leaves Manchester City at the end of the season.

Manuel Pellegrini has suggested that he is willing to listen to job offers in England when he departs Manchester City in the summer.

The Chilean will leave his position at the Etihad Stadium at the end of the season to make way for Pep Guardiola, who will exit Bayern Munich following a three-year spell.

Pellegrini, who had a short spell in charge of Real Madrid in 2009, has been linked with a return to Spain amid reports that Gary Neville will leave Valencia in the summer.

However, the 62-year-old seems to be keeping his options open, and would consider a move to another English club.

"There are a lot of interesting things here in England because all the clubs have the money to have a good project, so a lot of managers will be interested in a lot of clubs," Pellegrini told The Telegraph.

"With the new rights from the TV deal, you have more money and all the teams here in England can pick good players."

Pellegrini has won the Premier League title and two League Cups during his time at City.
