Scott Sinclair vows to keep scoring goals

Scott Sinclair hopes that by continuing to score crucial goals for Aston Villa he can earn himself a permanent switch to Villa Park.

Aston Villa winger Scott Sinclair hopes that he can continue to score crucial goals for the club between now and the end of the season.

The 25-year-old netted the second goal in Sunday's FA Cup quarter-final victory over West Midlands rivals West Bromwich Albion at Villa Park.

Sinclair, who is currently on loan from Manchester City, admits that goals will aid his chances of securing a permanent deal.

"Hopefully I can do it again, keep improving my game and move forward," he told Villa's official website.

"It's great now that I can work with the new manager, try my best to do as well as I can and score and create some goals.

"I haven't been this hungry to play football for a long time - since I was a kid probably - because it's been so long since I've had a run of games. I am confident in my ability to score and create goals. It is just about playing games and being settled."

Sinclair joined Manchester City from Swansea City in 2012.
