Mauricio Pochettino has reportedly emerged as a managerial target for Russian giants Zenit St Petersburg.
Since his departure from Tottenham Hotspur just under a year ago, Pochettino has been heavily linked with a number of top European clubs.
Manchester City are allegedly one of the teams who monitoring the situation at a time when Pep Guardiola's long-term future at the Etihad Stadium remains unclear.
However, according to Championat, Zenit want to bring in Pochettino as a replacement for Sergei Semak.
As well as only sitting in third position in the domestic league table, Zenit suffered a 2-1 home defeat to Club Brugge in the Champions League last week.
Club officials are allegedly prepared to hand Pochettino a deal worth just under £6m per year.
