Manchester City are reportedly prepared to allow Ferran Torres sign for Barcelona during the January transfer window.
Before he was sidelined with a metatarsal injury, the Spaniard was regarded as a key man at City, contributing three goals from seven starts in all competitions.
However, since Barcelona have appointed Xavi as their new manager, the former Valencia man has been linked with a return to his homeland.
According to 90 min, City are happy to part ways with the 21-year-old, providing that they can reach an agreement with Barcelona over a fee.
While the Catalan giants cannot afford to meet City's £60m asking price in January, there is scope for a loan with the obligation to buy in the summer.
Torres has allegedly already informed Pep Guardiola and City officials that he wants to be a part of the rebuilding project at Camp Nou.
