Carlos Tevez believes that his honesty caused him problems during his time at Manchester City.
The Argentine, who completed a move to Juventus last week, has reassured his new club, however, that he has "learned how to behave".
"I am simply honest. At the start of my career in England I used to be a hot-head," he told Tuttosport.
"If the manager substituted me, I'd swear and insult him. I'm not like that anymore, as I've learned how to behave."
Tevez, who has also played for West Ham United and Manchester United, has had a host of off-the-field problems in recent years.
